We're excited to launch our Rockstar NICAS Academy Courses , built around the NICAS CLIP (National Indoor Climbing Award Scheme). Our Rockstar NICAS Academy Courses are suitable for 6 yrs+, is designed for all abilities. This 12-week course offers training in essential climbing skills, safety techniques, and confidence-building exercises, providing a Nationally Accredited Rock Climbing Qualification upon completion.

Introducing Rockstars NICAS Wild Climbers 3-5yrs

NICAS Wild Climbers: Every Little Adventure Begins with a Great Climb! Perfect for children aged 3 yrs +, with courses available during the day or after school. NICAS Wild Climbers is the go-to program for budding young climbers. With a playful, game-based approach, we make the first steps into climbing not just safe, but exhilarating! Our climbers develop keen awareness of movement, grow in confidence, and start on a fun-filled pathway to more climbing adventures. NICAS Wild Climbers is designed to be inclusive & accessible, this program welcomes everyone. It aligns with the Early Years Foundation Stage, promoting communication, physical development, & social & emotional growth. We ensure every child feels included and valued. Join us and watch your little ones climb to new heights of fun and discovery!

Rockstars NICAS Groups

Rockstars NICAS Academy for Groups & Schools

Introducing our Rockstar NICAS Academy for Groups, built around the NICAS CLIP (National Indoor Climbing Award Scheme). This 6-week course is designed to provide community groups and schools with an exceptional climbing experience. This program offers comprehensive training in essential climbing skills, safety techniques, and confidence-building exercises.

Upon completion, participants will receive a Nationally Accredited Rock Climbing Qualification, making this course ideal for fostering teamwork, boosting confidence, and promoting physical fitness. Join us and let your group embark on an exciting and rewarding climbing journey with our certified instructors!

Join us for our FREE taster session for Rockstars NICAS Academy and Rockstars NICAS Wild Climbers for a free taster session and experience our courses firsthand! Experience Rockstars NICAS Academy 6yrs+ Our 12-week programme for ages 6+ helps them achieve a nationally accredited rock-climbing qualification. They’ll gain confidence, teamwork skills, and overall well-being. Featuring NICAS® Clip Foundation and Advanced programmes, it’s the perfect start for budding climbers. Experience NICAS Wild Climbers For kids aged 3+, our playful, game-based approach makes climbing safe and fun! They’ll develop movement skills, confidence, and social abilities. Inclusive and accessible, it aligns with the Early Years Foundation Stage, ensuring every child feels valued.

Rock Stars Weekly Drop-In Sessions

Rock Stars Climbing Fun is our fantastic weekly term-time, after-school climbing club, designed to engage young people with exciting games and challenges every week.

Suitable for all ages and just £10 a session! £9 at Meadowhall

Note: Rock Stars Climbing Fun weekly drop-ins are only available until 26th July 2024. From September 2024, these sessions will be replaced with our NEW Rock Stars NICAS Academy courses, featuring NICAS Clip. These weekly drop-in sessions are different from our new NICAS-endorsed courses, which offer a structured, longer-term commitment with a nationally accredited qualification upon completion.

Calm Climbing Sessions for SEND Visitors

Climbing is a fantastic way to burn off some energy while having mountains of fun.

During our calm climbing sessions, created for our visitors with Autism and SEND in mind, we’ll turn the music off and there will be fewer climbers in the arena to create a calmer and quieter environment. Family and siblings are of course also welcome to climb.

Home Educators

Our HomeEd sessions are ideal time to get the kids and educators together for some adventurous learning fun.

Climbing at Rock Up is a unique, thrilling activity that can benefit all children, building confidence, teamwork skills and self-esteem. It’s the perfect physical and mental challenge that can be integrated into the National Curriculum from Key Stage 1 to 4.

Our fun climbing walls at Rock Up are uniquely designed to offer multiple challenges to suit all abilities.

Suitable for 4+ years, novice to expert. No equipment needed.
