Our climbing sessions last 90mins - includes a 30min safety briefing followed by 55mins of climbing. Dress comfortably, but you will be unable to climb in open-toed or high-heeled shoes.Read Our Reviews
The soft play at Rock Up is excellent - the team that work here are lovely could not be more obliging. I needed to fast WIFI and I can work from here whilst my children play.
A great place for a working mum!
We had a group birthday gathering of all ages from 4 to 54 years. There was something for everybody. I loved all the different walls with varied grips and challenge levels. All of the staff were great. Relaxed, friendly and helpful. I cannot praise them highly enough.
They made everybody feel so at home.
Excellent experience. All the kids in our group had an amazing time. Our son did the Leap of Faith too and said it was great fun. The team was very helpful, both in the climbing area and afterwards in organizing the party area and providing Pizza (including a non-dairy pizza for one of the kids).
Highly recommended!
Inclusion matters and I can thank the Rock Up employees today especially our instructor who was amazing in ensuring my little boy who has cerebral palsy had the best first experience of climbing. He hasn’t stopped smiling & he and his sister had the best time and can’t wait to come back!

What age can my child start climbing?
All participants must be aged 4 and older for our standard climbing sessions, while under 4’s can enjoy Toddler Climb & Play sessions or a visit to our soft play which is available for children of all ages. Check out our options in your At Rock Up, we offer fantastic local centre to see more info.
Is Rock Up suitable for beginners?
Yes, and its the perfect way to start your climbing journey.
• Our climbing walls and Vertical Challenges offer a huge selection or climbing options that are perfect for all ages & abilities.
• We offer climbing sessions specifically for ages 4 and under, ages 4 and up, as well as specialised sessions for climbers with additional needs.
• We offer NICAS climbing courses that offers training in essential climbing skills and fun challenges. Culminating in a nationally accredited climbing qualification.
Do I need to bring any equiptment with me?
No. Everything you need to Reach New Heights is included. Our team will provide a safety briefing & climbing harness as well as instruction & support throughout the session. Just dress comfortably.
You cannot climb in open-toed or high-heeled shoes & all long hair must be tied back.
How safe is Rock Up?
Absolutely yes. Safety is our number one priority.
Our automatic belay devices keep you secure, taking in slack as you climb and lowering you gently to the ground. With a weight range of 35lbs to 330lbs, they ensure a smooth experience for climbers of all shapes & sizes.
Our clipping system ensures climbers are always securely attached throughout the climb. Every session starts with a full safety briefing, and our expert climbing team are always nearby to assist anyone feeling uncertain.
Can I use the High Ropes course?
Our High Ropes can be added onto any climbing booking, or, purchased on its own. We have 2 high Ropes courses; the lower course is for climbers over 1.2m tall, and the higher course is for climbers over 1.4m tall.

Fantastic activity and soft play for the kids - I took my 2 boys (aged 7 and 5) and they had a brilliant time! The staff were very attentive and its such fun and also great exercise! The food was great too (perfect for the kids) and I enjoyed the homemade cakes!
