Rock Up safety rules

Please remember:

  • The number 1 rule: always clip in before climbing.
  • For children under the age of 18, a signed waiver by a parent or legal guardian is mandatory. Parents or legal guardians are responsible for their children’s behavior in the facility.
  • Ask the Rock Up team if you need help clipping in.
  • For your first climb, start with a 6ft descent test. 
  • Auto belay weight range 35lbs - 330 lbs. Please check your weight with the team if you are unsure. 
  • No running in the facility.
  • Don’t stand under a climber who is ascending.
  • Long hair must be tied back. 
  • No Jewelery, watches, phones, coins, and key chains in the pockets when using the facilities. If you need to store personal belongings, individual lockers are available on the premises.
  • No high heels and no open-toe shoes of any kind while using attractions. Sporty/athletic footwear is recommended. Shoes must be worn at all times in the facility.
  • If you do need to use the bathroom, take your harness off. Ask a Rock Up staff member to check it before you start climbing again.
